SEPTEMBER 5th - Looking for a fun, creative and enriching activity for your child? Join our Kids Crafty Club
Join us on September 5, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 as we build, paint and design our own wooden plane. Space is limited. The Kids Crafty Club is a space where children can explore their creativity, learn new skills, make some friends and build their confidence - while having fun away from their screens.
$2.00 per child | parents are free
Children are free with a family museum membership. A perk of being a member to the Heritage North Museum.

World Suicide Prevention Day, noon to 2 p.m. September 16, 2026
Join the Roots of Hope and our partners for a free community barbecue at the TRCC (Thompson Regional Community Centre) on September 16, 2026 from 12 - 2pm!
There will be plenty of activities, music, and service providers for mental health!

On September 18th - bring your most adventurous plushie to the Heritage North Museum from 10:00am to 5:00pm. 💙
Fill out the registration form and pay a $2.00 fee (this helps us fundraise for future family programming and activities hosted by our museum). On September 19, come to the museum and pick up your plushie between 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Museum Admission is free upon plushie pick up, so you will get to see everything they got to see the night before. Join us in the boardroom for a teddy bear craft during your visit. Pictures will be taken of all the plushies as they explore the museum and will be sent out via email a few days after the event.
